Why LaunchMyDoc
Why do I need a website?
Because it's the first thing a patient checks before they trust you with their health. When someone hears your name — from a neighbour, a referral, a signboard, your visiting card — the next thing they do is search for you online. If nothing professional comes up, or nothing comes up at all, you've already lost some of that trust before they ever call. A website is how you control what they find: your real qualifications, your registration number, your clinics and timings, in your own voice — not a stale Google listing or, worse, someone else's clinic ranking above yours for your own name.
A visiting card or a WhatsApp status can't hold all of that, and it disappears the moment the conversation ends. A website is always there, always searchable, and works for you even when you're with a patient and can't answer a query yourself.
How does a website help me get more patients?
- You show up when patients search.Your pages are built with your speciality and locality in the right places, so patients searching for "[your speciality] near [your area]" have a real chance of finding your site — not just doctors who paid for ads.
- You look established from the first click. A dedicated, professional site — your name, your brand colors, your story — reads as more credible than a listing on an aggregator page shared with a dozen other doctors.
- You stay visible between visits. Regular health articles under your name keep your site active and give search engines fresh reasons to keep showing it — and give patients a reason to check back or share it.
- Booking friction drops to one tap. A patient who lands on your site can open a WhatsApp chat with your clinic immediately — no separate app, no account, no phone tag.
- It works while you don't.Your site keeps answering patients' questions — timings, fees, how to book — at 11pm on a Sunday, without anyone at your clinic doing anything.
Getting started
How does onboarding work?
You start from our "launch your website in 20 minutes" button, which opens a short AI chat interview right on the website — no WhatsApp or phone call needed. It asks one question at a time and never re-asks anything you've already answered:
- Tell us about yourself — one open question about you and your practice; we pull out your name, qualifications, experience, speciality, clinics, and languages from your answer.
- Fill the gaps— we only ask follow-up questions for details your first answer didn't cover (registration number, clinic timings, fees, your booking WhatsApp number, and so on).
- A bit about your style — a couple of questions about how you connect with patients, used to give your website content your own voice rather than generic copy.
- Your look — a profile photo (required) and, optionally, existing marketing material or color preferences.
- Search terms — we suggest the search terms patients would use to find a doctor like you; you just confirm them.
Most doctors finish in under 12 questions. At the end, we generate your website and branding automatically and take you into your dashboard.
Do I need to fill in everything before my site goes live?
No — the interview only collects the minimum needed for a working website (your "minimum viable profile"). Once your site is live, you can go back into Dashboard → Your website at any time to add the richer details — photo gallery, certificates, additional affiliations, extra payment modes, FAQ entries — at your own pace.
Editing your website
How do I edit my website?
Go to Dashboard → Your website. There is no separate "edit mode" toggle to find — the page you see there is your actual live website, just editable while you're signed in. Anyone else visiting your public site sees the same layout without the edit controls.
What can I change, and how?
- Text— your bio, service descriptions, clinic details (name, address, timings, fees), qualifications, languages, FAQ answers, and your homepage headline. Click into any text field, edit it, and click elsewhere (or press Tab) — it saves automatically. A small "Saved" confirmation flashes briefly so you know it went through.
- Photos — your profile photo, and gallery/certificate images. Uploading, removing, or reordering photos takes effect immediately, no separate save step.
- Your FAQ section — add or remove question/answer pairs directly.
- Theme and colors — switch between our website designs and color presets from the toolbar at the top of the editor.
There's no publish button and nothing to be "in draft" — every change is live the moment it saves. Use the "View live site" link in the toolbar any time to open your public website in a new tab and see exactly what visitors see.
How do I stop editing?
Just navigate away from the "Your website" page — editing only applies while you're on that screen.
Blog posts
How do blog posts work on a paid plan?
On Practice and Practice+Grow plans, we write a new health article for your website automatically — a topic calendar is planned each month, and one article (with a header image) is generated on your scheduled writing days. We email you letting you know a new draft is ready, with a link to open it. Nothing is published until you personally read it and approve it — there is no way to skip this step.
How do you make sure the AI doesn't post something wrong under my name?
The AI only ever produces a draft— it has no path to publish anything by itself. The email is only ever a reminder that a draft is waiting; it does not process replies or accept "approve"/"reject" by reply. To approve or reject, you open the post from the link we send (or from your dashboard), read it in full, and click Approve or Reject there. Every article — however it was written — goes through this same single publishing step, and there is no setting that skips it. If you reject a draft, it's discarded and never appears on your website. You are always the last check before anything goes live under your registration number and your name.
How do blog posts work on the free (Starter) plan?
Automated writing is a paid-plan feature. On Starter, you write your own updates directly from your dashboard — much like writing a Facebook post: type your update, attach up to 3 photos if you like, and hit Post. There's no title to fill in and no approval wait — it publishes to your website immediately.
Where do published posts appear?
Every published post — whether AI-written or self-written — appears on your public website's blog page automatically, in the order it was published.
Bookings
How does a patient book an appointment?
Through the booking widget on your website: the patient picks a clinic, day, and session, then enters their name, age, gender, and phone number. If the patient is under 18, we also ask for a parent or guardian's name and their relation to the patient before the booking can be completed.
Where does that data go, and who can see it?
It's stored securely and is visible only to you and the staff you've invited to your own practice — never to another doctor on the platform. See our detailed Patient Data Protectionpage for how this is enforced, how long records are kept, and how minors' data is handled under the DPDP Act.
Custom domains
On paid plans, you can search for and claim a custom domain (like drname.com) directly from your dashboard — no DNS knowledge needed. We buy and connect it for you as part of your plan, up to a standard registration price; unusually expensive/premium domain names aren't included.
Data privacy
Our Privacy Policycovers what we collect from doctors and patients and how it's used. For the specifics on patient booking data — encryption, tenant isolation, retention, and DPDP Act compliance — see Patient Data Protection.
