1. What we collect

From doctors:

  • Account details — name, email, login identity (via Google or email sign-in).
  • Practice details you provide in the setup interview — qualifications, registration number, clinics, timings, fees, contact numbers, languages, and the story/personality answers used to generate your website's content and design.
  • Photos you upload (for example, your profile photo or clinic materials).
  • Blog approval decisions and dashboard activity needed to run the service.

From patients booking an appointment through a doctor's website:

  • Name, phone number, age, gender, and the appointment date/session you choose — required to make a booking, stored in our database, and visible only to that doctor's own practice staff.
  • If the patient is under 18, the guardian's name and relation to the patient — collected in place of the patient's own consent, per the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), which requires verifiable guardian consent for a child's data.
  • An optional note on the reason for the visit, if the patient chooses to add one.

We treat this as sensitive personal data under the DPDP Act (health-related information) and restrict it accordingly — see "Who else can see your data" below. No patient accounts are created; a patient interacts with the booking form once and it is not linked to any login. Some doctors also offer booking via WhatsApp directly with their clinic — those conversations do not pass through LaunchMyDoc.

2. What it's used for

  • Building and hosting your website and generating its content and branding.
  • Writing draft health articles in your voice, which you approve before publishing.
  • Operating bookings links, dashboards, and notifications.
  • Billing and, where applicable, sponsorship administration.

Your interview answers are processed by AI services to generate your content. We send only what's needed for each generation task — never your login credentials.

3. What's public by design

Your website exists to be public: your name, qualifications, registration number, clinics, timings, fees, and published articles are visible to anyone. Everything else — contact numbers marked private, interview answers, uploaded materials, dashboard data — is not published.

4. Who else can see your data

  • A doctor's own bookings and patient details are visible only to that doctor and their own registered staff — enforced at the database level, not just in the app, so one practice can never see another practice's patients.
  • If your plan is sponsored by a partner organisation, that partner can see your name, plan, and onboarding status — never your practice's internal data, bookings, or patient interactions.
  • If you use our SEO service, our SEO partner can see your site's public pages and its search settings — nothing else.
  • Service providers we build on (hosting, database, AI generation, WhatsApp messaging) process data on our behalf under their own safeguards.

We do not sell your data. Ever.

5. Retention and deletion

Your account data is kept while your account is active. If a paid plan lapses, we keep your data so you can come back — nothing is deleted automatically. You can request deletion of your account and website at any time.

Patient booking records are the exception: medical council record-keeping norms require a doctor to retain patient visit records for a minimum of 3 years, so we keep booking data (name, phone, age, gender, visit date, guardian details where applicable) for at least 3 years from the visit date regardless of account status, and do not delete it early even on request. After that minimum period, a doctor can request deletion of their own practice's old booking records.

6. Where data lives

Data is stored with our cloud providers in the Asia-Pacific region. If you use LaunchMyDoc from outside that region, you consent to this transfer.

7. Contact
